Meet Lyla Bashan
My journey began in sixth grade, when a school report on the Amazon rainforest lit a fire that never went out. That spark grew into more than two decades as a humanitarian aid diplomat with the U.S. Agency for International Development and the Department of State, leading multicultural teams across Guatemala, Tajikistan, Armenia, and Jordan. I managed portfolios as large as $270M, created programs that expanded water access, reformed social services, advanced gender equality, and negotiated million, even billion, dollar agreements. Whether working with heads of state or grassroots activists, I’ve built my career on turning bold visions into measurable results - and on the power of bringing people together around a shared purpose. Now, I bring that expertise to help businesses create credible, lasting impact.
